Domain Name Configuration

This page will guide to configure your domain name with Artha Job Board

What is a domain name?

1. A domain name is a string of text that maps to a website's IP address.

2. It's the part of a web address that comes after "www." or the part of an email address that comes after the "@" sign.

3. For example, the domain name for Google is "google.com".

Benefits of configuring domain name

1. The website URL will show your branding instead of "arthajobboard.com".

How to configure a domain name?

You can either provide your domain credentials to our tech team by granting delegated access to [e-mail], or you can follow the steps below to connect your domain to Artha Job Board’s server on your own.

1. Log in to your domain registrar’s website.

2. Navigate to the DNS Management section.

3. Find the option to change your domain’s DNS settings.

4. You must enter two records in this section.

   1. Add an "A" Record with the following details:

      1. Type: A

      2. Value: 20.197.54.235

      3. TTL: 600 seconds

         
      4. Click Save to add the "A" type record.

   2. Now enter "CNAME" similarly as we entered the "A" name with the below-mentioned details.

      1. Type: CNAME

      2. Name: Your choice

      3. Value: Enter your arthajobboard link.

         1. For ex: yourdomain.arthajobboard.com

      4. TTL: 600 seconds.

         
      5. Click "Save" to add the "CNAME" record.

5. Save the changes and allow some time for the DNS updates to propagate.

6. Once the above steps are complete, contact with our support team from the Chat option and we'll update the domain and add the SSL certificate to the new domain.

7. Following the above steps, your domain will be connected with Artha, and the link will showcase your branding.
