Smart Backfiller

Introduction

The "Smart Backfiller" feature will add relevant jobs on the platform, fetching jobs from different sources.

Add Backfiller

Click on the "Get Started" (if adding the first time) or the "Add" button will open a sidebar to enter the job details.

  1. Backfill Job Every: This is a dropdown field used to select the repetitive time duration of filling jobs.

    1. For example: If you select 1 month the backfiller will run every month and add the jobs to the platform.

  2. Limit: This field is used to set the number of jobs backfill each time the backfiller runs.

    1. Currently, we support only 200 backfilled jobs every 24 hours.

  3. Select category: This field is the category dropdown. When the admin selects one of the categories from the dropdown, the jobs backfilled by this backfiller are mapped to this category.

  4. Job Title: This field will allow you to enter the keywords related to the job that may be the job title.

    1. For example: Developer, Engineer, Lawyer, etc.

  5. Keywords: This field will allow you to enter the relevant keywords that may be part of the job description.

  6. Location & Region: These fields will allow you to select jobs from the selected country, city, and state. This helps narrow down the geographic area from which the jobs can be fetched. NOTE: Location (Country) is a mandatory field.

Once you fill in all the above details, click on the "Create Backfiller" button and the backfilling will start adding the jobs on the platform.

Backfiller Activities

For the running backfiller you can perform various activities, let's see each function in detail.

Pause Backfiller

  1. This button will pause the backfilling of the jobs until they are resumed manually.

Archive Backfiller

  1. Click on the box with the down arrow icon to archive the running backfiller.

  2. This will automatically pause the backfiller and add it to the "Archived" section.

  3. To unarchive the backfiller simply click on the box with the up arrow.

Edit Backfiller

  1. Select the "Edit" icon update the required details and click on the "Update" button to implement the changes in the backfiller.
